People will go to great lengths to pass a drug test, especially when their job and essentially their livelihood is on the line. People that don’t use drugs typically never think twice about taking a drug test. Drug users who try to defraud a drug test will have some sort of game plan and typically a backup plan. This cheater story is about a backup plan gone wrong.

Everybody wants to pass their drug test. Most people do this by abstaining from doing drugs; that’s the easy way. Other people want to try it the hard way. They try and use someone’s or something’s (use your imagination) urine that isn’t their own. Over the years, the First Choice staff has busted hundreds upon hundreds of people trying to defraud their drug test.
Although our name is First Choice Drug Testing, we do much more than drug testing. We also do breath alcohol testing. Truck drivers, pilots, railroad workers and any other personnel who fall under the Department of Transportation drug testing regulations are subject to random and post-accident alcohol tests.
There are many ways that a drug user will try and cheat a drug test. Although we know about most of them, sometimes we come across a new one.
We recently had a donor come into our clinic for a DOT (Department of Transportation) drug test. People who test under DOT include truck drivers, pilots, some railroad workers, etc. The federal government has many regulations for DOT drug tests, so it’s a bit more serious than your average drug test. This particular donor began his drug test just like anyone else.
