First Choice Drug Testing

Drug Policy for workplace

First Choice offers discreet and confidential pre-employment physicals and drug screenings, and our services are always a phone call away. We have a Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to verify all results, and we offer most of our lab testing services at our Little Rock clinic without an appointment. If you want to operate a drug-free workplace, we offer pre-employment and random drug screenings with the quickest possible results. We enjoy partnering with small businesses to reduce their risk of workplace accidents and lower the cost of their workers’ compensation premiums. We also offer training for your staff if you currently have an in-house or onsite drug testing program.

If you don’t already have testing procedures in place, we can also help you get started. We’ll make sure that your drug-free workplace policy protects both your business’ and employees’ rights, and that your policy is easy to follow. We also offer urine collector training that meets Federal DOT testing requirements and reasonable suspicion training for your supervisors. Reasonable suspicion training is a standard requirement for transportation companies, airlines, and railroads. The training enables supervisors to recognize the signs of impaired performance that justify the need for testing, and the procedures to test the employee right away.

If you operate a trucking company or a transportation company, 49 CFR 382.603 mandates that all of your driver supervisors must receive at least 60 minutes each of “reasonable suspicion training,” on both alcohol and controlled substance use. We will make sure that your supervisors are in full compliance with the federal reasonable suspicion training requirements, and that your specimen collectors are trained in the testing procedures.

Our training programs are all available in person and online, and we also offer free unlimited online training for our clients. Our training programs are all quick and easy to complete, and we’ll make it quick and easy for your collectors and supervisors to get properly trained and certified.
