Along with the offer, you also received instructions to report to First Choice for your pre-employment drug test. If this is your first time taking a drug test, you’ll be in great hands as soon as you walk through the door. Our team members are all committed to professionalism and legendary customer service, and they’ll make the process as quick and easy as possible. Here’s a quick look at what you’ll need to know when you arrive:

Location and hours: We’re located at 6400 Scott Hamilton Drive, Little Rock, AR 72209 (Interstate 30 Exit 134), and our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but you might experience slightly longer wait times if you arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. We close promptly at 5:00 p.m., and you may be subject to after-hours fees if you arrive after 4:00 and are unable to produce an acceptable specimen immediately.

How does the testing process work? It typically takes 15 minutes or less to complete testing, and you’ll need a photo ID. You’ll sign a collection protocol form at check-in, and the testing process will officially be underway. If you leave our lab for any reason without providing a specimen, it will be considered a refusal to test with the same consequences as a positive result. You’ll need to be prepared to void .45ml (approx. 2 ounces), so please ensure that you’re properly hydrated when you arrive. No food or drink is allowed in the office, and we’re only allowed to provide a maximum of 40 ounces of water after your first attempt to void.

How quickly will my employer receive the test results? We offer the quickest possible turnaround time on all reporting, and most urinalysis results are delivered to the employer or requesting agency in one or two business days. We keep a Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to verify the accuracy of all test results, and we’re always a phone call away if you have additional questions!
