We offer pre-employment physicals so you can put your new hires to work!
Great companies understand the importance of hiring great people, which can be challenging in today’s job market. Businesses everywhere are desperate to fill new positions and don’t have time to waste when they find the right personnel. First Choice is here to help you expedite the hiring process, and we offer discreet and confidential drug and alcohol screenings at our south Little Rock Lab with no appointment necessary. We have an experienced Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to interpret and verify all test results and also offer pre-employment physicals by appointment.
Fit-for-duty physical examinations ensure your new hires are fit to perform their duties and help you properly document prior injuries to protect yourself in the event of a future workplace accident or a workers’ compensation claim. We also offer DOT physical exams and work hard to issue a 2-year card if possible. But it doesn’t stop there! Contact us anytime to schedule any of the following physical exams:
Asbestos Exposure Exams-Asbestos is a known carcinogen, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates medical examinations for individuals working in the demolition, salvage, removal, construction, transportation, disposal, or storage of asbestos or material containing asbestos to determine if they have any medical issue that might be related to asbestos exposure.
HAZMAT Physicals-OSHA requires annual Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) physical exams for employees who are routinely exposed to hazardous or toxic materials or chemicals. The HAZMAT physical involves a physical exam and might also include chest X-rays, heart and lung function tests, and auditory tests as deemed necessary by the medical reviewer.
Hexavalent Chromium Physicals-A Hexavalent Chromium physical exam is recommended for certain categories of industrial and agricultural workers and consists of a medical history review and an examination of the patient’s skin and respiratory tract.
Silica Exposure Exams-OSHA requires employers to make medical surveillance available at no cost to the employee and at a reasonable time and place for each employee who will be occupationally exposed to respirable crystalline silica at or above the action level for 30 or more days per year.
