It’s always an exciting time when you get a new job, and the final thing you have to do before you start work is to come see us at First Choice for your pre-employment drug test. We’re proud to be Arkansas’ most trusted third-party administrator, and we can get most donors in and out in about 15 minutes. No one looks forward to taking a drug test, and we certainly don’t take it personally! But people with nothing to hide have nothing to worry about, and you can always count on courtesy and professionalism that starts the moment that you walk through our doors!

Our testing center is located at 6400 Scott Hamilton Drive (exit 134 off Interstate 30), and you never need an appointment during business hours. You’ll need to show us a current photo ID when you arrive, along with the drug-testing paperwork provided by your employer. It’s crucial to also arrive properly hydrated, and you’ll need to be prepared to void approximately 0.45ml (2 ounces). No outside food or drink is allowed inside, and we can only provide up to 40 ounces of water after your first attempt to void is unsuccessful. You’ll be required to sign a collection protocol form at check-in, and the testing process will officially begin once you’re escorted into the confidential testing area by a team member. Leaving the testing center without providing a sample is considered a refusal to test and carries the same consequences as a positive result!

Unless your employer requests otherwise, you’ll be allowed to void privately. Once you’ve provided a sufficient sample, you’ll be free to go after our technicians confirm that it’s within the proper temperature range and shows no evidence of tampering. We keep a Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to verify the accuracy of all test results, and we can typically deliver test results to employers and requesting agencies within 1-2 business days so that you can get right to work!
