We proudly offer pre-employment physicals so you can put your new hires to work right away!

First Choice is proud to be Arkansas’ most trusted third-party administrator, and we offer every conceivable lab test at our southwest Little Rock testing center! We have an experienced Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to interpret and verify all test results, and offer industry-leading turnaround times on all drug and alcohol testing services. But it doesn’t stop there, and we also offer background checks and physicals!
To meet your workers’ compensation insurance requirements, you’ll need to schedule Fit-for-Duty physicals before your new hires start work or return to work after an accident. In addition to ensuring that your employees are physically capable of doing the job, a fit-for-duty examination also helps you document any prior injuries you’re “inheriting” to protect yourself from frivolous claims.
We offer DOT physical exams to transportation companies and work hard to issue a 2-year card whenever possible. Physicals are by appointment only, but we can usually deliver same-day results. We will never order unnecessary testing, and offer on-site service if you require multiple physicals. We’re also proud to be one of the only testing companies in Little Rock to offer FAA Flight Physicals by Dr. Jim Bryan, and we’re less than 10 minutes away from Little Rock National Airport!
Annual HAZMAT physicals are required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for employees exposed to hazardous materials or chemicals that can cause health problems. They typically consist of a regular physical exam, a review of the person’s medical history, job duties, and potential exposure to hazardous materials, and other reviews as deemed necessary by the medical reviewer. And if your employees are involved in the demolition, salvage, removal, construction, transportation, disposal, or storage of asbestos or materials containing asbestos, OSHA 1926.1101 mandates that they regularly undergo Asbestos Exposure Exams to determine whether they have any medical issues related to asbestos exposure.
In addition to the physicals listed above, we offer respirator fit, pulmonary function tests, medical clearances, audiograms, and blood draws. And if you’re not quite sure which physicals to schedule, we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have!
