First Choice Drug Testing

First Choice is proud to be Arkansas’ most trusted third-party administrator, and we offer every conceivable lab test at our southwest Little Rock testing center. Individuals who use illegal recreational drugs are statistically more likely to steal, be chronically absent or tardy, or be involved in a workplace accident, and you have a fiduciary responsibility as a business owner or manager to keep drugs out of the workplace. No business is ever too small for a random drug testing program, and we’re a phone call away whenever you’re ready to get started. And many companies have also made the switch to oral fluid drug testing for several great reasons!

Urinalysis is the most commonly used testing method, and it only takes a few minutes to set up your account. We can get most donors in and out in 30 minutes or less during business hours, and appointments are never required. But a lot can happen between the workplace and our testing center, and if the employee intends to tamper with his or her sample, that’s where it will occur. Additionally, if you suspect that employees are under the influence of drugs or alcohol on duty, you could be held criminally negligent if you allow them to drive themselves to our testing center. While you or a trusted employee is driving them in for testing, you’ll have two fewer people on duty and run the risk of falling further behind!

Oral fluid testing is more effective at detecting recent use than urinalysis, and it enables employers to assess what’s currently in the donor’s system at the time the specimen is collected. The testing kits are very easy to use, and no special training is required. Supervisors can collect saliva samples under direct supervision, and the testing procedures eliminate gender-based collection issues and potential privacy invasions. You’ll receive your initial results in minutes, and the final step is to send the sample to our lab for confirmation; you can choose to send us all testing samples or only samples with non-negative results. We offer industry-leading reporting times and keep a Medical Review Officer (MRO) on staff to verify all testing results.
